FLORENCE – Paige Harris Williams, 57, died Saturday, April 6, 2024, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born in Florence, SC, on November 22, 1966, to the late Patricia Bailey Harris and Jerry Robert “Blackie” Harris.
Paige graduated from South Florence High School and Francis Marion University. She earned her nursing degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, and was a dedicated and loving nurse for 28 years with McLeod Regional Medical Center in the Labor and Delivery Department. She was rewarded for her excellent patient care with the Palmetto Gold Award in 2007. She loved serving the community and did so for many years with the Florence Junior League.
Paige spent the majority of her childhood and young adult life as a member of Mizpah Baptist Church. Later in life she enjoyed attending services at St. John’s Anglican Church.
She was a selfless, giving person and a loving mother who was the foundation of her family.
Paige is survived by her husband, Charles Kinston “Ken” Williams, Jr., and her two children, Mackenzie Loren Williams and Harris Kinston Williams, all of Florence; her uncle, Bill Bailey (Sandra), and their son, Shane Bailey (Dawn), also of Florence.
Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at St. John’s Church with entombment following in Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Waters-Powell Funeral Home.
